Speaky includes American Female (Bella, Sarah, Nova), American Male (Adam), British Female (Emma), and British Male (Daniel) voices. All voices are AI-synthesised using Kokoro TTS.
Speaky requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later on Apple Silicon or Intel Macs.
The fastest way: highlight any text and press ⌘⇧S — Speaky reads it instantly, no copy-paste needed. You can also click the menu bar icon and press Read to speak your clipboard, or use Edit → Services → Speak with Speaky. The shortcut can be changed in System Settings → Keyboard → Shortcuts → Services.
